Founded in Fall of 2004, this student organization meets regularly to discuss important animal related issues and works to rectify the injustices that surround the notion of animals as mere property.

Although primarily a law school organization, we welcome non-law school members and are concerned with all legal issues facing our non-human constituents, especially those pertaining to animal cruelty. One of our primary goals is to increase awareness of the legal problems that exist surrounding the treatment of animals both on campus and in the Athens community.
